We found it reasonable for our requirments

We really enjoyed our stay. It is a 20 minute walk into town but you can walk through the botancial gardens and through the Royal Crescent and Circle. The car is really not very good and you should look first before driving down the drive but we parked on the street with no problem. The room was very nice and comfortable and the breakfast and breakfast room lovely. I would recommend Cranleight to friends and family.

cranleigh is the most wonderful place we have stayed. everything was thought of right down to every little detail. the staff were very friendly but not intrusive, what a lovely family run hotel. thank you

Our room was beautifully decorated and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The hotel was a 2 mile walk (uphill on the way home) from city center.

A warm welcome and a clean, comfortable room - the whole establishment was run to the highest standard. The breakfasts are great and there is free wifi in your room. The minibar prices are reasonable and the toiletries are of a good quality and provided in bottles not sachets. There was even an i-pod charger in our room. Truly a home from home.

There is only so much Doris Day you can take at breakfast but that really is a minor niggle considering how good everything else is! I would recommend earplugs in case you are in a room at the front of the house (the road outside is quite busy). It is quite a long walk into town so wear comfy shoes or be prepared to take a bus.

The family room was excellent plenty room for a family with two teenagers. Comfortable and well kept and clean, bathroom was spacious, new and well equiped. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice.

Car park difficult to exit but plenty of street parking.

Manager very friendly and personable. Breakfast good.

Rooms 'tired'. Bed hard. Shower rail broken and held up with sellotape. Handsoap dispenser empty.

We had a 3 night stay without the kids for my 40th, so had put my cards up on the mantlepiece the day of my birthday. The girl who cleaned the room must have told the owner, as when we went back that night there was a small birthday cake with serving plates, forks and napkins, that just finished off an excellent day. Cake in a four poster bed. But overall the breakfasts were fantastic, my husband was in heaven having smoked salmon, the room was lovely and the and the owners and staff friendly and helpful. And being just out of the city meant not much nightime noise so we had a good nights sleep. Lovely place would recommend to friends.

Car park was ok if you had a small car. Having a large car we tried on first day and nearly got stuck, so had to park on road but there was plenty of space.

Very comfortable room. Helpful, friendly staff - really nice people. Fantastic breakfast with lots of choice. Room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed. Tea and coffee in room. Good toiletries, and dressing gowns.

Hotel is about 1.5 miles from Bath centre. £8 taxi ride (inc tip). But bus services close by. Car park at hotel is small, but we had no trouble getting a space. There is also free on-street parking, and there always seemed to be spaces.

The welcome, the breakfast, the advices, the location of the hotel and the parking (in the street in front of the hotel and at no cost)

Owner friendly and left a cake in our room for my husbands birthday. Also we wwere given local transport information and a map to help us get around. Bed really comfortable which makes a nice change. Room had a lovely view and was quiet.

Waiting staff at breakfast were not over friendly and we could hear their conversation in the kitchen. Picked hotel as it said no children but there were children staying there.
